Hmmm, I read it differently from everyone else. I thought the guests are standing around wondering where the food and drink are and Sheila is dying of embarrassment, and she can’t find the youngest child and the third from the eldest just threw up on the minister/rabbi’s shoes.
So...is this inspired by true events? :)
