Yeah, I still dig on Billy Idol's songs from the 80's. I spent a few minutes enjoying some of his old school videos last night. This scene was not inspired by his White Wedding song, but I was more inspired to listen to that song after completing the first half of this scene.
My wedding was also an outdoor event. We exchanged vows under a massive white tent with windows. To this day, when people see some photos of the tent, they go "Ohh, you went to Julia Robert's wedding!?"...uh no. It also stormed the night before our big day and so I thought that we would end up having a November Rain wedding--complete with guitar solo and guests diving across the cake and under the tables. No casket business though. Actually, the day turned out to be incredibly beautiful and sunny. And despite a few disappointing snafus during the event, it turned out to be one of the best days of my life.
I love how you, with simple structures, managed to achieve such a solemn feel in these scenes.
ReplyDeleteNo snafus there.
Holy smokes, that's a lot of Goose Grease!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to the happy couple!
Thanks Pubdoll!
ReplyDeleteHee Hee! Hmm...Did I ever mention that I really really like those Goose Grease dolls? Ha!
ReplyDeleteSadly, Altera, that's not all of them in my collection. I left out about a dozen or so and Lord knows I have several more on the way from Michelle and Kelly...
