In short, the DWR event was quite wonderful and I loved meeting the cool folks in the miniature modern community. Thanks to everyone who came out and showed support. I promise to post pictures and write more about the event later. If you missed it, I'm sure all the bloggers on this coast will make you feel like you were there. Oh, and it was a fantastic idea for Paris to host an after party at the Clift. We occupied a couple of tables in the Redwood Room--incredibly appropriate atmosphere. However, did you know that if you have stiff drinks on an empty stomach, everyone is way too noisy the next morning? Chuckles...Cheers!
Am soooo sorry I had to leave and miss the party...was thinking of you all as I tucked my grand babies in bed that night. Looking forward to some pix. It was really, really terrific to meet you all!

It's strange how sometimes photos don't quite capture everything the same as when you see it in person, so I'm really interested to see your perspective of your work. I'll post my photos soon. Next time drinks are on me. :D
