Behold Teddy Luong's Fish Condo/Hotel. This dude totally thought he was making a modular fish tank for goldfish and...whatever fish enthusiasts are called. Little did Mr. Luong know that he was actually making modern miniaturists a delightful little room box.
The fish tank comes with a glass insert but I removed it for my decorating efforts. The white crate has a space in the bottom that allows one to put in a flooring style of their choice. 1:18 and 1:16 scales work best for the Fish Condo. I kept wishing that I already had some brinca dada furniture pieces to use in the space or some 1:18 Mini Modernistas designs but made do with my current inventory. It is sadly obvious that I am used to working in 1:12 because every time I move to a smaller scale, I knock everything around like crazy. You'd think I had banana hands or spent my days swatting at planes in the sky. Embarrassing.
Anyway, I created a vacation villa (above) for this round. I also attempted to create a little two-story house (do I really need to say "little" here?) but only got it partially completed (below) before my mini-me decided that I would not have any more time for myself. The joys of parenthood are abundant.

The Goods: Furniture is Hape, Plan Toys, Lundby and Momoll; All accessories are Lundby, Mini Modernistas, Fisher Price, AG Minis, Breyer, Re-Ment, CB2 and Silver Acorn.
