1:16 Djeco Dollhouse Is Throwback Modern Cuteness

Love how the style and design of these two modern Djeco dollhouses remind me of old school favorites from the 1950's and 60's-- like Vero, Lundby, Ideal and others. You have to admit that these sets are pretty cool for what is typically offered up as "modern" in the mass produced side of the toy industry. There are more family sets, furnishings and figures for this series than shown here. In other news, I have no idea where I am going to display this retro cuteness...
UPDATE: Purchased these sets from Milk Tooth in Australia. Super friendly customer service and reasonable shipping.

    1. Hello Pepper!
This hobby definitely takes a village. I would love to put more time into my minis. Do I keep saying that? Well, I did clean up the "work area" so maybe I'll get around to actually building a scene. I'll be emailing you soon, lady!

  6. Love it! Can't wait to see it. Please let us know if assembly is required - that would make it easy to repaint some of the colours if one choses!
