Cubic House
Coulour House
Love how the style and design of these two modern Djeco dollhouses remind me of old school favorites from the 1950's and 60's-- like Vero, Lundby, Ideal and others. You have to admit that these sets are pretty cool for what is typically offered up as "modern" in the mass produced side of the toy industry. There are more family sets, furnishings and figures for this series than shown here. In other news, I have no idea where I am going to display this retro cuteness...
UPDATE: Purchased these sets from Milk Tooth in Australia. Super friendly customer service and reasonable shipping.
Hello missus =0) Nice to see you're keepiong your eye on the ball for the rest of us. I like the Djeco's, especially being able to view it from all sides. Nice find =0D
ReplyDeleteHello Pepper!
DeleteThis hobby definitely takes a village. I would love to put more time into my minis. Do I keep saying that? Well, I did clean up the "work area" so maybe I'll get around to actually building a scene. I'll be emailing you soon, lady!
I love these, furniture and all!
ReplyDeleteI knew you would. It's totally your style! I hope more toy companies get it together.
DeleteI LOVE the Cubic House!!! The furniture is pretty cute too! Great to see you online! :D
ReplyDeletePsst--you should get it! Thanks, I'm trying to get my miniature act on point. We'll see! And---it was really cool to see you offline a while back!

Hello Kikka,
DeleteI can't wait to see them in person! Hugs back at ya, friend! :)
Of course I couldn't resist a Cubic House and two sets of furniture. They are making their way to me from Australia -- a late birthday gift ;) Great to see a post from you!
ReplyDeleteOf course! ha ha! Happy belated birthday, cool lady!
DeleteSweet! CM
ReplyDeleteLove it! Can't wait to see it. Please let us know if assembly is required - that would make it easy to repaint some of the colours if one choses!
ReplyDeleteGood news! Assembly is required (and it's easy). Yes, you could totally customize this house! ;)
DeleteWow just was jolted into awareness of this doll house as it is French and one family is named Gaspard, my maiden name. How fun. Hope my daughter has a girl some day so I can buy it... ahem just for heritages sake. CM
ReplyDeleteCan we use Djeco furniture in
ReplyDeleteLundby houses?
