The Goods: Cubebot is Areaware, bed is Paris Renfroe Design, mid-century cabinet is Kitty Puppenmobel, Nakashima Concordia chair replica is Minisx2, Eames Plywood Elephant is Reac Japan, "giant" anglepoise lamp is Just Mustard (Thanks TSS!), art is Alexander Calder, all accessories are Bozart Toys, Playmobil, Tim Holtz, Tech Deck, Plan Toys, AG Minis, Paris Renfroe Design, and ebay and hobby store finds.

Cubebot says "hello" to a new friend...

I think it is the use of daylight that brings the images to life.

  2. Cubebot is just saying "hi", right?

I'm guessing from the chair that you purchased the game table and chairs set from minisX2? I was checking that set out myself, but didn't have the cash. :-( Maybe after the tax refund.....

    Love the elephants!

    1. Ha ha! Hello Sandra,
Yes, Cubebot is intimidating but friendly and harmless. I did pose the little guy he is being introduced to in a startled manner.
I'm BUSTED! Yes, I did snatch up that game table and chairs set. I highly recommend the pieces. Her work is phenomenal.

  3. Oh, I am loving this. I especially like the cabinet. Where can one find this brand of furniture? I searched for it with Google and just kept getting this blog (very cool). Do you have any suggestions?
    Thanks

    1. Hey Doris!
They are vintage pieces. I found every one of these KP pieces by haunting ebay. It's tricky because not every seller knows what they have or how to describe it and so you have to search key words for just about everything you can think of to describe this type of furniture. Ebay is really the only place I know where to obtain these. I'm sure there is an antiques store somewhere with a large loot. It's a hunting game.

Yes, I think someone is trying to drown us in the Bay Area. Chuckles! I know, I have my nerve to complain when it's sunny and mild here most of the time.

    1. Ha! Cubebot is intimidating to the wee ones there, ey?
The MinisX2 items are lovely lovely. I now stalk her etsy store. Hmm---speaking of an etsy store and someone who has great designs, maybe a certain someone who we'll refer to as "Salt" should open a store...

  6. I really like this room. That PRD bench works very well as a bed. It's so nice to see the MinisX2 pieces in a collector's setting. Seeing the chair here made me think wow, where'd that come from...Only to find I had hearted it already at Etsy. Isn't that weird?

Cubebot is cute, I hope the kids aren't too scared. Dropping by here always gives me a smile.

Oh, THANKS MUCH for the link love here in your sidebar. See you on twitter...
