"A" Is For...

Assistant. When I had finished this room, my oldest child sidled up to me to get a good look at the miniature scene. They quickly spotted where I had originally left it clear underneath the bench at the foot of the bed. They furrowed at the brow and asked "Why don't they have any toys under there?"...Why indeed? Revise!

The Goods: The bed is Bodo Hennig; the bench is Momoll; the storage unit is made of wood building blocks; the chair is Reac; the carpet tiles are PRD; All accessories are Bodo Hennig, Voila Toys, AG Minis, Playmobil, ReMent, MunnyWorld, Lundby, Bozart Toys, K&Company, Ikea, Hape and Country Home. The figures are Revoltech. The magazine is Playboy.

  1. I love this scene. Love it, particularly because of the realism of toys in every nook and cranny. Kudos to your assistant! (Mine still just says "Gaaa!")

  3. I'm really enjoying your series of kiddy rooms. Also, love the purpley tint on this set! Is it a camera lens filter? And it was very responsible of your assistant to help you with your scene!

  4. Hey Altera!
Thanks much. Yeah, my assistant is great. I forgot to mention that they were dressed as a superhero the whole time so they "saved the day". Chuckles.
BTW, heard you got an Emerson House. Should we expect some lovely scenes soon? hope so.

  6. Thanks Ann,
I think I have three more left to photograph. Ah--the blue/purple was originally cast from my shirt mingling with the daylight. I liked it so much that I enhanced the blue in Photoshop. The blue looks beautiful with the red, yellow and orange pieces in the mini scene.
